The Fischer Family

Hello Everyone!

Things are really busy in the fischer house these days! Ryan is finishing his first year of grad school which means we are half way there! He will graduate with his Maters degree in Business Administration with a focus in management in August of next year! After getting a new professional grade camera from my momma I'm looking into taking some photography courses at the community college here in charlotte. I have contacted the director of the program and should know by next week if im going to be able to get into the fall photography classes! And on top of all of that we are busyily taking care of our little ladybug each day! She is growing and changing so much, she looks more like her daddy everyday but everyone always says she has my eyes! At least i got somethin! She is developing so much, she loves to play and roll around on the floor. She is loving the pool this summer and she has her very own little float equipped with its own canopy and everything! We are loving every single moment with her and planning on trying to get pregnant again after Christmas! We love being parents so much and cant wait to ad another one to the fischer clan! We are excited for the fourth of July weekend and will be spending lots of family time together! We are attending a picnic on Saturday and cant wait to see the fireworks! We just had a photo shoot done with Autumn on Monday and will get the pics tomorrow so I will post them on the site. We had a special headband and tutu made for her pictures and she looked adorable so i cant wait to get them and share them with you all! Autumn has a doctors appointment in two weeks so we will write another update then with all the new info on how much she has grown!

Hi everyone! Autumn rolled over this weekend! She is growing SO much! I have the best job in the whole world! We are having so much fun with her we are already thinking about baby no. 2! I cant wait to have 2 little ones running around this house! We are LOVING every second of our lives these days. Our family has brought us so much joy and we are just overflowing with love everyday! Daddy took us out this weekend for a family day and we had a blast! He took Autumn shopping, and spoiled her rotten! She got some new hairbows, a tag for her diaper bag and some books. Then he took us to Davidson and we walked around the town, and had lunch at the soda shop. Autumn was very alert the whole trip and she had a great time. She smiled at everyone and loved all the attention she got from passers by. After our adventerous day out, daddy brought us home and we had a family bbq outside on the grill. It was a great day and we loved spending it together as a family. There is a pic of Autumn in her stroller at the soda shop on the home page. Nothing else much is going on, we are looking forward to the 4th of July coming up soon. Mimi and Pop bought Autumn an adorable red white and blue dress to wear to the church picnic so we will take lots of pics to post. It will be interesting to see how she likes the fireworks, i hope they dont scare her! Oh, and i just had the cutest outfit made for her! It is a flower headband and matching tutu. She is having her pictures professionally taken in a few weeks and i ordered it for her to wear in the pics! It is sooooo cute so i will try and post some of the pics when we get them taken, not sure if i can post professional photos online though. But here is the outfit....

Today was a big milestone for baby Autumn. She laughed for the very first time! Her Mimi has been trying for weeks to be the first person that Autumn laughs at, but today Autumn laughed at Mommy! Since her first laugh she has kept doing it most of the evening, it is so cute and we plan to post a video of it as soon as i can catch it on film!

Hi everyone! We added a new feature to the website, a little excerpt on the home page titled "How I'm growing" so if you have read that this may be somewhat of a repeat for you. But, Autumn is getting so big! She holds her head up now and smiles all the time! My favorite part of the day is when i go to get her out of the crib in the morning and when she sees me she gets a giant smile on her face. It's like she is saying, "Good morning mommy, long time no see" She definately has her own little personality now! She is starting to like certain toys of hers now, she really likes anything that plays music. She is also begining to discover her hands and just starting to reach for things. This is such an  exciting time in her development and Ryan and I cant wait to share more with you as she continues to grow!

Hi everyone!

Yesterday Autumn had her 5week well baby visit. She has gained almost 2 lbs! She weighed 9lbs 11.5 oz and she grew almost an inch, she was 21 3/4 inches long! She is in the 60th percentile for her weight and 75th percentile for her height! My baby is getting so big!! She is starting to give her first real social smiles now and it is so cute! We spend all of our time now making silly faces at her to get her to smile for us!

Hello all!

Baby Autumn is now three weeks old, almost four weeks. She is growing like a weed! We are loving every second with her! Being a mom is the best job in the world! She has changed so much since we first brought her home. Her hair has really grown, she has put on weight, she opens her eyes all the time now and even smiles. She is so precious! She is a total mommy's girl too! She loves to hang out with me in the bed and just stare at the ceiling lights, and she wants me to hold her all the time! She is really starting develop her own little personality! Will write again soon,

Hello,

I am 39 weeks pregnant now and just one week away from my due date! Yeah!!! I cant believe its so close and that i made it this far!!! We hit a bump in the road this week when i finally became fed up with the poor medical care i have been recieving from the CMC Main OB  staff, where i have been going since the beginning of my pregnancy. Luckily, i was able to transfer my care to a brilliant doctor that I am extremely happy with and to a facility that is just 5 minutes from our house instead of 45min! It is such a blessing how the Lord provides! I saw our new doctor yesterday, she said that i wasnt dialated but that my cervix had thinned out, so I'm making progress! Ryan and I are really really hoping for a baby this weekend! Hopefully you will hear from us VERY soon with news of her arrival!

Hello,

I am 36 weeks pregnant now and cant wait for this baby to come! I saw the doctor this week and he told me he doesn't want me to have the baby until i reach 37 weeks bc that is what they consider full term. So... starting next week i have the green light to try every old wives tell said to bring on labor, from climbing stairs to eating pineapple, i plan to try them all ;)  At this point i am as miserable as i can be. My hands and fingers are so swollen i can hardly close them, I'm having terrible back pain, and my walking has turned to a mere shaky waddle. I will be 37 weeks next Wednesday, so I'm going to try really hard to go into labor then, hopefully Autumn will cooperate

Hello All!

We had our 32 week check up today...and, drum roll please.....the baby is head down and in position!!!!! I am soooo excited bc i have been walking 2miles, three days a week (which for a fat pregnant woman is like running the NY marathon three days a week) trying to get her to drop! I am soooo glad it has payed off! My books and the doctor have told me that walking may help the baby to come a few weeks early and even if she doesn't it will definitely help during the labor & delivery! The Doc said today that my weight gain looked great and i measured right on  target. We will return in two weeks for our 34 week check up and will keep you updated!!!!!!
